Prince George toward Jasper, Alberta

We woke up on our usual leisurely pace and headed southeast out of Prince George toward Jasper National Park.

That drive might be one of my favorite stretches we have ever driven. An all-day alpine treat - the endless evergreens and aspens, colorful roadside wildflowers, purple mountains as a constant backdrop. I tried to get started in my Yellowstone mini cross-stitch, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the scenery.

Before getting to Jasper we hit another Canadian park, Mt. Robson. Pretty impressive mountain amongst a bunch of impressive mountains.
