Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, WY

Just when you thought we had had our fill of seeing bison close-up, we came upon a little commercial thermal area with an attached bison pasture! Apparently this is another spot on Steve’s historic Old West Trail, so we captured not only the happy bison and beautiful larkspur delphiniums, but also some of the 1950’s-60’s architecture. Even though there were pools and water slides and all sorts of things and it was noon on a weekend, the place was almost deserted. Very throwback!
