A few more scenic byways

Wyoming is true to its word - when they call something “scenic”, they mean it!

Today we cut through the Wind River Reservation on the Wind River Scenic Byway - just more unique and stunning rock canyons.

We also took a scenic byway through Sinks Canyon, including a very winding (switchbacks were starting to get to Steve a bit!) spin up and down one of the mountains. So many wildflowers for my inspection, identification, and collection, too!

Josie cries if she can’t come with us on EVERY little excursion.

Caught a few glimpses of a nice little state wildlife management area, too.

And who can pass up a slight detour for an abandoned mining area? The Keig Family, of course!

Made it safely to our sweet campsite, relaxing with a cheeseboard, an iPad (Steve), and a good book (trying to finish up The Mosquito Coast).
