On our next adventure!

We have been anxiously awaiting our next van trip, this one to North Cascades, Bellingham, and the up into Canada. The refrigerator calendar says it all.

I was suspicious when we were ready to go at 8am, but Steve kept adding more and more “last minute” errands. Costco for gas, stop at the bank for Canadian money, get the tires checked (we found we actually needed this - they apparently installed the new tire incorrectly last week so you couldn’t get to the air nozzle to refill!) Then I realized if we left at 10am instead we would be perfectly timed to hit Bill Burgers in Wilbur, WA right at noon. We love this old-school place. It all makes sense now!

We decided to eat in the van. Got to really watch Josie around those Billy Burgers.

As we headed west we had to stop at the always-impressive Grand Coollee dam. We found a new scenic overlook.

Van bathroom by night light, easier than navigating all of the switches, and our van bedroom (including all SEVEN pillows and an extra Thermarest mattress!) all ready for movie night.
