Major closet improvement

We have to hand it to Montana, who found and installed this horizontal slat wall system in her mud room wall that we adapted to our master closet. We have so much flexibility now with hooks that can go literally anywhere, we do not quite know how to use it.

But we now can keep our daily socks/undies in wall baskets, and also moved our workout clothes off the bedroom chair and into the closet.

Steve confirmed what Montana and Elijah promised - it was super easy to put up. Quality built. Small vertical pieces placed on the studs, slat sections slide right on and interlock with each other. J-shaped vertical pieces snap over for a finished edges. A million hooks of various sizes await. Honestly, for people like us who love hooks, this is organization nirvana!

The Before photos don’t quite show how the middle wire shelf unit was falling off the wall. But they do show Chester’s closet lair, on top of my shoe rack and under my fleece robes. This is where he spends his days, so we had to recreate it for him with the new hooks.
