Happy (early) anniversary!

Our beloved Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island is replacing their iconic parlor carpeting and held a fundraiser to sell off 4’x4’ sections to sentimental suckers like us!

So Steve made this our early anniversary gift to each other. We are almost getting into some really exciting numbers. It will be 37 years this July!

Of course, we have no idea what we will do with it. I assume we will get it bound, and then since our house is all windows with no wall space, I suppose it will become a decorative throw rug somewhere. But can we trust Josie with such an irreplaceable treasure? That’s the real question.
