Fall afternoon

It’s a strange feeling when, after a burst of activity to catch up on my procrastinated work, I suddenly realize I Am Done. The list is empty! And if the realization hits on a warm and sunny October afternoon, it’s time for some serious porch time. Lazy and wonderful!

Start on the back deck, where goats happily lay amongst roaming chickens as well as a gaggle of roving turkeys along the fence line just passing through.

Then it’s off to the front porch for some golden hour long shadows.
