Afternoon sights

I’m typing this as I lay in my awesome hammock chair, listening to some light music Steve has emanating from the camper behind me, with the cottonwood leaves overhead rustling gently - and trying to to choose between the hundred or so photos I took this afternoon to post!

Bison at every turn.

More wild horses! Their colors were just beautiful.

So many adorable prairie dog villages everywhere. Reminds us of the voles at home.

Steve was quite proud of this shot he took, getting 5 prairie dogs in one shot.

Even spotted some antelope!

And then so many cool rock formations. So many layers and textures. So many different vistas. We took a few more hikes this afternoon to take it all in. We are really getting to know this place pretty well.

And this selfie is entitled, “Relaxed and Incredibly Happy Woman Hammocking in Her Hand-Dyed Teddy Roosevelt Hoodie at the End of a Perfect Travel Day”
