Zinnia true love

I know bachelor buttons were an early summer favorite this year, and I have an unexplainable obsession with the herb borage’s tiny blue star-shaped flowers. But my heart still belongs to zinnias. I’ve already decided that I am going to do one of the large in-ground beds all in zinnias next year. I am going to try seeds from my favorite gardening expert, most (all?) of which will be in the pastel side of the color pallete. We will see! It does seem a little crazy to grow a cut flower garden and then not be able to bring myself to cut any blooms. I just love how they look in the garden. But maybe if I grow more next year I will be wiling to cut more, too.
