The 2025 blog book(s)

It’s always an exciting shipment to receive - the annual book-from-the-blog arrives! Except this year I posted so many times with so many photos that I exceeded the maximum number of pages they can support. So I had to split 2025 into separate Part 1 and Part 2 volumes!

I am so thankful for the Dutch company that makes producing these physical books from my redhawk.farm website so easy. And I suppose I could manually modify the auto-generated draft book to make it smaller so it fits in one volume before publishing, but that would kind of defeat the entire purpose of their fully automated service.

It is fun to walk through the year and our many travels, but I suppose the thing I like the most about these annual blog-to-paper books are the trivial day-to-day activities that also get recorded in them.

So as many volumes as it takes, I guess I will keep printing these crazy, beautiful books!

A great example of a day-in-the-life

Yes, I suppose I might have overdone it with the sky pictures this year.

The only way the year would split without exceeding their limits was Jan-July in part 1 and August-December in part 2.

I love this auto-generated splash pages in each book. I have no idea how it chooses the photos it does.
