Snow day
As much as it pains our Southern-loving friends and family, we get pretty excited up here when it starts snowing. This year fall extended almost all the way to Thanksgiving, so we only had maybe a week without the beautiful fall colors before snow started. That is the perfect cadence, because cold and gray without snow for too long gets a lot harder to stomach.
It wasn’t a huge amount of snow, but it was enough to cover everything so the ground matches the sky.
This attractive chicken is one of the baby birds, and this one is actually a rooster. So far he seems completely skittish of humans, so maybe he will end up being a docile boy.
