Renewing our Mug Club

For the past few years we have been members of our local brewery’s “Mug Club”, which basically just means you have a mug withi your name and get a discount and some other goodies. We love to support Big Barn in this way, because it is a really neat, year-round fun and friendly place to go where you can watch the game or play some cards by the fire (this time of year) or pull up a camp chair and listen to live music outside (in the summer). And it is only about a MILE down the road!

However last year we didn’t partake in enough Big Barn time, and we have a new resolution to do so this year. So we are off to a good start today renewing our memberships and having a beer and some soup and fresh bread, watching the football playoffs while Steve again beats me at gin.

We have a LONG way to go before we can start sitting out here.
