Late afternoon long shadows

I love the long shadows of late afternoon up here in the Great White North. All seasons have the most beautiful long shadow golden light from that low sun.

While Steve was grabbing a truckload of water, I walked around the outside of the garden fence to grab a few shots of the beautiful light.

This maple looks dressed for fall.

Look at that color!

Pretty soon we will be able to start using the fire pit again!
