Frosty days

It honestly doesn’t get old (for us), at least not this time of the year - by the end of April, maybe it’s a slightly different story. It’s been nice and frosty around here lately. Not much snow, but plenty of ice-covered everything. And not the bad kind of ice that makes driving bad either. My motto is I’d rather have frost than mud any day!

I put some old cloches on top of a few of the baby trees in the (desperate) hope that they can make it through the winter. Optimism is low to zero, but we try.

The early morning light.

Frosty trees.

Frosty morning coffee with various animals all the time. Though when Steve is out of town (like today), typically Josie spends 99% of her time laying by the front door waiting for his return. The only reason she is by me in the morning is because she’s smart enough to know I’m the day’s feeder.

Serena still konked out in the bedroom, as she typically is 99% of her life these days.
