New Christmas puzzle

It drives Steve slightly crazy, but I am super particular about my jigsaw puzzles. I do NOT like puzzles that are too hard in terms of having large same-color sections or if they have irregular-shaped pieces or are made out of unusual materials (please, Steve, did you recently buy me two wooden puzzles with absolutely bizaare shapes and try to tell me they were “cool”?) I also hate puzzles that have too much red. Yes, too much red is a total puzzle turn-off. Who knew?

Although my all-time favorite puzzle is the random Crystals puzzle pictured below, I mostly love the 500-piece vintage puzzles produced by Cavallini & Co that come in the round cans and many of the nostalgic image 1000-piece montages by White Mountain. I probably have 60+ puzzles in total, but I really only work a dozen or so over and over (though I keep buying them!)

This new Christmas cookie puzzle is one of the busy and colorful (not too much red) White Mountain photos. Excellent 2.5 day activity on-theme for the holiday!

Started with green and blue, saved the plain gingerbread pieces for last. This one was just the right amount of tricky.

My absolute favorite! Look at those awesome colors! Do not bother me once I have started it, because I will not move from my chair until it is done. And I always start with yellow.

I must have at least a dozen of these cool illustrated canned puzzles.
