Caught two hummingbirds in action!

I was standing in the garden admiring all of the plants (as I do a lot), when two hummingbirds flitted past me from one bed to another. It was one of the rare moments that I did not have my phone out, so I quickly grabbed it and tried to take a few shots. The sun was in my eyes, and I was wearing a pair of very old sunglasses from my 40’s (meaning barely containing a prescription.) So I was pretty sure I had missed all of the action as I bumbled around.

But it turns out I did actually catch those speedy hummingbirds in flight! Maybe not the most impressive photos, but I was thrilled to see the results.

And this final picture also caught one, just leaving the scene in the upper left. Very lucky (half-blind) shots!
