Beautiful B.C.
We had quite a bit of smoke clouding the views on our way up to Kootenay National Park in British Columbia, and we were worried our entire trip might be smoke-spoiled. It’s obviously always a risk, esp. in August. But the farther north we went, we seemed to be outrunning it. We settled into a PERFECT campsite after taking a few hikes to enjoy the glacial lakes and rivers and geological sights, and, of course, to feed Dawn’s wildflower obsession.
We ran into this nice guy and his daughter from the Northwest Territories on several trails today (“We promise we’re not stalking you…”), and we just loved his license plate so much I had to photograph it (“We promise we’re not being creepy, we just have never seen a plate like this…”). Weirdo American Behavior
We LOVE the big double screens on our campervan. Great airflow and get to sleep with nature as much as we want!
Just waiting for Steve to give the word, and sweet soy beef and broccoli rice bowls are all ready to be prepared! #bestfoodcamping
