Pretty great couple of days meandering without a plan through Montana River country.

The walls of this canyon were covered with this black rock for dozens of miles on both sides. So I made Steve pull over and steal a piece for Montana’s rock garden. They are 2 BILLION years old!

And only we can find a tiny used bookstore in the middle of nowhere, MT!
