And then we got to see it take off!

Cruising up A1A on Sunday morning, we got to see the latest SpaceX launch, sending up the Falcon 9 rocket we had seen on the launchpad the day before. It was carrying Starlink satellites. Apparently they do this every few days like it is no big deal (they have over 10,000 of them up there supporting our internet service), but we were impressed! The flames right after takeoff were WAY brighter than we expected (though my camera did not pick them up.) Honestly, so cool to catch a glimpse of this in the sky. We will now be following NASA’s big Artemis launch next week, which will be the first test of a new type of manned flight around the moon, preparing for a new era of human space flight. We are hooked!
